The tide is low in the bay again, so that's a pain. My learning curve has slowed a lot, so I'm picking up a little more skill each time but not the huge jumps of the beginning. My arms get tired quickly. I'm getting on the foil for maybe 20-second rides now. The more I do it the more I'm convinced foils don't belong anywhere near other people. I feel like there should be rules about this - not legislation, but the same general understanding and self-policing we have with right-of-way rules in other sports. I even feel a bit like I'm a danger to myself, so I'm thinking of cutting and running. Yet I still want to feel I've learned it decently and given it a full chance, and I'm not at that point yet. Luckily nothing is forcing my hand. I'll probably keep trying it in short doses.
