It is hard for me to remember the beginning of my session, which I know I was having fun, even though I was struggling a bit. I think I rode a couple of waves - no bottom turns though. The waves and outside swell were a blast, though challenging for me. Then all h*** broke loose. I had been out for probably too long (close to 2 hours Brian says) and I couldn't seem to waterstart. My arms were tired and the rig kept pulling out of my hands. Then when I would get started I would spin out my back fin and fall again. I thought I was bound for Cuba (or maybe Jeri) with no Harvest bar to tide me over. I added a little salt water to the existing salt water while I kept trying. Finally I was able to make it back in. Upon later inspection of the wind graph - the wind had spiked up to 30 gusting to 34, which may have contributed to my dilema. At first I thought I was giving up windsurfing, but now I can't wait to tackle Port A again!
