Brian is completely responsable for my incredible experience. When the alarm went off I thought someone was calling us at 2 in the morning. Come to find out, it was 6 and Brian coaxed me out of bed and we headed on our way. When we got there, it was blowin like stink and Brian rigged the smallest sail we brought from Austin (based on a 10 to 15 forecast). He came in after a few runs. The wind died down a bit and steadied out perfectly for me to take that sail over and Brian rigged a bit bigger for himself. It was an awesome hour! The ramps were great and I was trying my best to ride some waves. One thing I noticed is that my balance is really beginning to increase making my ability to handle the white water and just in general sailing feel better. The light wind stuff is really paying off in the big winds. I can not express enough about how much more confidence in my board and sail handling I have due to trying new things and light wind practice. What a great morning!!
