96 What a fun day--warm, beautiful, and (by luck more than planning) I was perfectly powered and tuned in. I could have been on a smaller sail of course, but mine really was not hard to manage. Poenish sensor shows a little spike in wind speed to high 30s just before I arrived, but by the time I rigged and got out there it had fallen to a nice even 33-34, gusts around 40. The smaller board helped. It was too choppy to try much, though, although jibing on the outside was awesome--I was 100% and always got lucky enough to find a big, smooth swell. wow. Good crowd--I didn't count, but thinking back I'd guess about 12 while I was there. Only hard part was getting my gear to and from the water--the wind made that tricky.
