Wow what a surprise! Forecast was 15, with some gusts (to 20) from noon to 3pm. I was thinking it would be less as best as I could tell. I brought only big gear, and expeceted to be sailing the F175. I almost did not even bring the 7.5m2. Fortunately, I did. It was averaging a solid 15 with gusts to 20 when I got there. It was kind of chilly despite being sunny, and I was the only one there at first. I decided to go with the 7.5 and C145. Soon others showed up too. Slowly, the wind picked up. It let off for a minute, @ 2:30, then really started cranking. I could just barely hang on to the 7.5m2, and the 52cm fin was starting to get tough to gybe. I gutted it out for a half hour, but then I decided to go home early. I wish I had my 6.3m2/Cross 117, but it was at the house. A fun day ! I got to use my ProLimit Beanie hat today that I picked up this summer in the Gorge. It rocked. I was so much warmer with it. Great call Brian.
