24 It was already a rare awesome day at Poenisch--big swells set up just right, nice ramps, tuned in, Sam had fixed my big footstrap--when the Blue Angels started their routine. That just took the day to another level. They went over low enough that sometimes I could read the words. I swear one of them acknowledged us--the plane dipped its wings at a group of us on the water. After that I was waving back when they came over low. I could feel the sound even in my chest. I LOVE THEM!! It's probably about the only time you can be windsurfing while watching someone do something more exciting than you are. post-sesh--Matt's b-day BBQ. wow I'm still full.
