First two sessions quite weak and often not planing. The final session was much better and was where it was at. Maybe 7 BL attempts. Very fun. The soft, cushy nose first landing never gets old. Discovered a push tack variation today, but i'm not sure i know how to describe it yet. I guess it's sort of a delayed and more drastic sinking of the tail to turn the board. This seems to allow the mast to go down all the way to the water for what may be a more dramatic move. For reasons that are unknown at this time, it also seems to make it easier to complete the move in the chop. Discovered a variation of the jump jibe today. On the way in, near the launch, turn a bit off the wind (instead of the normal into the wind) and get the air off the back of a wave. Maybe this'll be a segway into willy skippers? L and A are getting dang good at jumping and wave utilization. PSB: Full Sail Amber @ PSG: B&J Pizza
