First decent day of windsurfing for me since the beginning of May!! My schedule and the wind have been at odds with each other this year. Winds were disappointing most of the day. I would call it a hundred pounder day. For people who weigh 100 something they were planing and having a good time. If you weigh 200 something, forget it. You have to give your soul to the devil (well..end up way down wind) just to get a few yards of planing. The grass is always greener... Well thankfully, the wind filled in @ 4:30p, and we got a nice hour of planing wind for the rest of us. It was great just to get out. Lots of jellyfish and the water was hot. I got stung once, not that bad, or as least as bad as I remember... I am glad I made the trip for the day. Mike said I got the best of the last three days and that made me feel even better.
