Fun 1 mile downwinder with A,L,M. Going front side in onshore without worry of the boring point back upwind makes for a whole different Luby's experience. Yippee! Now we just need to get CC to spend that 100k they stole from the Cole Park wind park and install a 1 mile long conveyer belt magic sidewalk that takes you and your kit back upwind. Either that or get TBob to drive people and their assembled kits back up the beach. ;) Had to learn a new waterstart technique when nothing I knew was working to get the sail to fly. It's a whole different game in the strong, away from the jetty current in the shore break and you mast is buried just under water and pointed straight into the current. After 5 minutes of not knowing what's wrong, figured it out then put the nose of the board under the mast to get the necessary extra lift. No amount of swimming was going to position the kit against the push of the current. Tried 1 BL, but it seemed high, and so I had time to think logically, so I bailed. I love the '07 Ezzy for these conditions. Therefore, it is no longer for sale. Mike was not in the optimum mood.
