Day 2 o' ABK: Vulcan, carving 360, and CF 360 were the lectures. Got very useful tips on the latter 2, but the vulcan is still impossibly difficult. Made one 360, maybe only my second or third of my life, but missed many. It's all about the hip trick. Came extra close to completing a CF3 by following the instruction to not put the foot in front of the mast as early during the tacking portion. Video analysis showed me and A with very similar not so shove-it looking shove-it attempts. Apparently the problem is not maintaining forward momentum with the body while the board changes momentum to upwind. Not sure that I fully understand that yet. Realized from the video that even though your body may go horizontal, it doesn't necessarily look much like a shove-it. Killer weeds and killer weather today.
