Eventually convinced E that Uppers would have consistent wind and the lowers wouldn't, so we went there. It was probably 29 to 37 out there and a blown out mess. Tried lowers for a tad on the second session, but i started having this horrible sinking feeling which actually was more of a reality than just a feeling. Some new hobbies that i experimented with today since the wind today was so much rubbish: - sailing way out past the break to go whale watching, but I only managed to score a tortoise -hangin on the beach watching the Ezzys play fetch with their dog -stompin nuts in the parking lot -seeing how long i can stay up on the board while submersing panel 0 and a portion of panel 1 when there's no wind and the laws of physics regarding water displacement are beginning to take hold -hangin on the beach and giving charming nicknames to everyone who dared to venture out -wondering what charming nicknames were being given to us when we ventured out -during PSG, unintentionally pissing off mr. loud replucian real estate speculator surfer guy who was dining next to us and who may or may not have been receiving an under the table fj. It's entirely possible that windsurfing would be a dead sport if the wind always behaved this badly. PSG: The Hookipa Classic pizza @ Colleen's in Haiku. We scored a pizza size upgrade from Ben in the kitchen for some unknown reason. Theories are: 1. we ate there for bfast that same day and also 2 days prior, or 2. Ben was actually a grown up version of either of the young Bens that we know and he somehow time travelled back in time in order to obtain that kitchen job and give us extra pizza on this night. In other news, we also scored some free expired suntan lotion from our fried Morgan at Kanaha Kai! We also scored a new not free but majorly discounted '07 100L JP Freestyle board from the Neil Pryde shop. PSB: Lavaman Red
