Went 100L Freestyle for a moment, then switched to the 83. Re: Forward Loops Without the Forward Loop Inducer (aka Mike) around, I'm stuck in my old stifling ways of thinking "is this the right one? Am i high enough off the water to loop?" My best friend for 2 hours Matt P's answer to this was "They're all the right one!" I need to listen to my best friend for 2 hours more. Or sail around Mike more. Or maybe hire Hulk Hogan as my personal motivational speaker. His enthusiastic positivity on American Gladiators is awe inspiring (i.e. it amazes me in a slightly frightening but positive way.) Some shove-it attempts were starting to feel more natural, but only on port. Still need much more commitment though on throwing my upper body forward, or maintaining the forward momentum as Andy B describes it.
