Sailed at Windy Point, TX
Wind from the S (mph)
Board: 08 JP Freestyle 99L
Sail: my NeilPryde Expression 5.7
Since I am writing this the next day, my experience seems more like an adventure, maybe a minor inconvenience. Anyways, it actually was a beautiful, warm day with the perfect temperature of water to cool down in. I planed 3 or 4 times, so I was able to try some of my favorite moves. In between I worked on SB360's on my bad side and strung together 3 on my good side. The sun was getting low in the sky so I decided to call it a day. But, as I tried to derig, the sail would not come unplugged at the top, so I could not get the sail off the mast. I tried and tried and eventually called Brian. Oh, I forgot to mention I was the only sailor and at that point the only person left. He had to come out and rescue me. The big catch is that in the meantime the park had closed so I had left the sail on the point and they locked up. Brian and I walked in to retrieve the sail. I haven't looked at the sail this morning (by the time we got it last night it was fairly dark) to see how much crinkling I incurred by trying to shove it in the car with half the mast still on.
