023 - Lots of hype and bad timing for the cold front but got about as much as possible.  The front hit with a strong surge, backed-off for a short while then picked back up and was good with last run going into a clear sun disappearing on the horizon.  Heard a funny noise going out the first time, came in checked everything and sailed until the wind dropped.  While loosening down/out haul found the outhaul line with 2 small strands left, reversed the line for a quick fix that lasted through the longer last session.  BAF to the mudflats with several upwind runs inside with flat water along the Horseshoe Point and the north end.  Very difficult to see the edges, cut some a little too close but water was up a little so no problems.  Other than the short lull it was mostly planing with enough power at the ends.  Today makes it the best February logged since 2001 beating the previous high of 12 days in 2006.
