The gamble of returning north paid off! Made 3 out of the first 4 PV attempts, then 6 out of 8, all in the bumpy man channel. The SVs were not happening at all today. Sailed around the hook to the original vulcatorium to see if it was still shrinky and stinky. It was neither! Made the first PVs 3 in a row, then the wind took a break, so I followed suit. After the break, made the next 3 in a row. 6 in a row! Ack! At this point i decided to start thinking about Spocks. Long story short...there was one where I landed with the rig forward and both hands fairly back on the boom, and right before I fell, the sliding board started to rotate back to the original direction! It was a small rotation, perhaps just a hint of an inkling of a rotation, but it was a start. A spock seems within the realm of possibilities now.

Tomorrow looks to be a great post-work session.

SVs: 0/4

PVs: dunno, maybe 18/30?
