047 - Big forecast and even bigger wind peaking during and after a short second session. First out to SI#1 which was good outside but too many holes inside. Did several round trips between SI#1 the KRS that were much more consistent and eventually building to a good swell. From KRS got up to SI#2 and tried a couple of runs in the IWC flats going to SI#1 but the angle was too close to very shallow water. The inside had filled in for more runs BAF launch to SI#1. Second out was up to SI#2 and BAF to Burke Point, well overpowered most of the time but managed to get back downwind to the launch without crashing. Found concrete marker still in place on off sandbar between SI#1 & #2. |
