I missed yesterday's wind which was in the mid 20s. We got in late, and I did not get the rental gear until 5:00p. The family was tired and wanted to eat. So, I sucked it up and fired up the grill and we enjoyed a great sunset dinner.

Today was beautiful. The wind was light in the morning so it was a beach day, but the weather was sailablein the afternoon. I sailed from my brother's rental house in Salvo. Nice house and nice launch. A little shallow, but not too bad.

I sailed straight from 2:00pm to 7:45pm sunset. My brother, who was kiting, said it is cool to sail on the water as the sun sets on the sound. He was right, it was great. I worked on the usual. It was nice to wear boardshorts and exotop (probably did not need it).
