Windy Peninsula was wall to wall cars this afternoon. I have never seen so many people out there in my life. Most were swimmers, but I would bet there were close to 20 windsurfers out today in the light conditions.

I do not like 15 mph winds. It is good for formula and flyweights. I worked on LWF in the motorboat chop. My LW UW360s are getting better. I am making at least 50% on port, and 30% on starboard. I need to sink the tail more to pivot around instead of guiding it around.

I saw Ted S. hit the submerged island, that is 70 yards off the beach, fully planing. He screwed up his expensive Deboichet fin, but he is lucky he did not take out his finbox in his new ML board. I sure like sailing shallow FS fins.

I really like the Echo for freestyle. The NL Sumo is not quite stiff top enough for it, but I am able to make it look pretty nice with less downhaul and more outhaul. I wish I could see how it rigs with the correct mast.
