Seriously, it's always a good time at Richie's. Good company, good food, and somehow out of nowhere the wind picked up to planing speed as an added bonus. And Ken was down, so that made it even better. He tried some more windsuring on the board Tamay had borrowed, and I basically just messed around a bit, planing 90%. I came in once dinner was served. Later we all tried Ken's stand up paddle board. My first few tries were pretty ridiculous, crazy falls, until I realized better ways to stand and better directions to point the board (the wind was not helping). After that it was fun. We camped out and I also paddled the following morning when it was glassy calm. I do have to admit, though, I liked the wind and chop better, even though it was more of a challenge to learn.
