Took an official spock lesson from Randy, which was highly successful, because Mike completed his first spock ever while I was taking my lesson.

We tried for flatwater over by that island, but my feet got too slippery from the goo, causing my feet to bust out of the straps. To solve this problem, we moved over by the tent camping area, which was better from the perspective of detrimental slippery goo. I was getting psyched out from too much advice and thinking too much, so Randy told me to back up and just do what I do. Eventually, i think I made progress in 1) not sheeting in, 2) getting my hands back on the boom, and 3) extending the front arm straight. I just never got them all to occur at once. No doubt that this is going to fast forward my progress.

Randy let me use Angela's custom freestyle weed fin, which worked splendidly. I need to trace me one of those.

Mark, Kai, Bailey and I almost bit it in what would have been a horrible car wreck on the way home when a pickup truck (what else) crossed the line and was headed straight at us. I'm never leaving the house again.
