Sailed at Girl Island, TX
Wind from the ESE (mph)
Board: '07 JP Freestyle 100
Sail: '08 NP Expression 5.7
A little less planing than yesterday. Randy nicely gave some follow up tips on my one handed S attempts.
The duck tack attempts in the Gorge on tiny gear seems to have paid off since I'm nailing them now almost every time. Also, looking at the boom head seems to help a lot for some reason (the reason actually being that I'm getting visual feedback in addition to just feeling it.)
So few people there today that you could actually hear crickets while you were sailing.
To Bill's point about my possible disagreement about meriting a log...I have come up with the official rules of the windlog, which are in fact incontrovertible:
Rule #1: There are no rules. Any attempt to apply rules is a slippery slope to curmudgeonry.
Rule #2: If you read the windlog, you absolutely must deny it. Keep it your secret indulgence.
So, from the above rules, the non-existent reader should conclude that it is impossible for me to disagree with his choice of not entering a log because 1) it's against the rules, and 2) I haven't read his windlong.
