Lost an hour of sailing time, when I got a flat tire early on the drive down. I thought about bailing, but still went for it.

The good: First time sailing my 24cm freestyle fin. Works very well in the Naish. Always a good day when sailing the 5.7 Blade. A few good fast tacks and a HT on the little board. LWF paying off. I had a very good planing duck gybe as well.

The bad: I am confused now on my vulcan attempts. I spent most of my time working on this, and I am in serious need of video analysis. Last Tuesday, I was feeling better about getting the board around and had some slidage. Apparently not turning my head and body back according to Randy. Today he tells me I am turning my body around too quickly, and not waiting to get the board popped out of the water enough first. I am confused, and truthfully have no idea what I am doing or what is happening. My skin on my feet is messed up and painful. I wonder if it will ever heal.
