First move out...Grubby! (attempt). That's the way I planned it. What's his name from Kanaha Kai taught me that years ago, except he was talking about learning forwards. So, that's what I did, made it the first move of the day. I managed to hold onto the boom and get around, but other than that, I really have no clue what's going on. Actually, I do because super awesome Worldwinds Randy was kind enough to give me a land lesson. Then, later, I attempted one in front of him and he told me I'm not extending my back leg to land it. This made perfect sense because I was thinking about everything except that (upright stance, do it right away, face close to the boom, stick the nose by bending the legs, not over powered, back hand not too far back.) L asked me once if I tried a forward or if I got catapulted, and the answer was "no, that was a grubby attempt." 980 attempts to go?

Tried somewhere between 13 and 19 grubbies. Tried 0 flakas. Tried some V/S's.

I miss my freestylin' friends. Please come back freestylin friends from your fancy Disney Lands, Denvers, and Disco Birthday Parties.
