Great day because I got off the sidelines and was able play. Southwest misplaced my gear yesterday, so I had to anxiously spend my first day wondering where it was and when it would arrive. Now it was time to relax, and enjoy The Gorge. The morning session was fun because we were at the Hatchery almost all alone. Afternoon was much better, as the wind was stronger and steadier. I also enjoyed the Butteratorium area. I forgot how fun that area can be. Dougs was not crowded at first. Forecast was 2pm, but the crowd arrived with the wind @ 4p. That was around the time my boom cleat broke. No big worries, I already had a pretty good day. It is a special place, and to share it with friends is almost too good.
