Patched up the Mike's Lab board, but didn't use it. Tried three more catapults, this time counting down from 3 in order to learn to pull the forward loop trigger on command without delay. Only problem is, I don't think I'll have time to count down from 3 during the jump! No resulting dings from crashing masts on the Basset. On one of the 'pults, my back stung a bit after hitting the water...but still fun. Did some helis with the entire board completely underwater. Did a sail-body 360 on the smallish 90 liter board for the first time, although the clew touched the water. Laura is sailing much more aggressively all of the sudden! She's oversheeting on her jibes, bending her knees more, and flipping the sail sooner, and not luffing the sail during the jibe. She's also trying chop hops instead of absorbing the chop. I think the new aggressiveness and confidence is a result of her getting 2nd place in the Dirty Triathlon. Post sailing beer : Full Sail Pale Ale |
