Positives: Sailed the old Gaastra Echo 6.9 and my sticker repair held up well. The new raised boom cutout by Bob T made a huge difference. It felt springy and easy to pump, thus was planing early again. I made a few C360s. Saw B&L and Eric. Had fun terrorizing Brian. Grabbed his clew but fell into him.

Negatives: The Echo 6.9 felt HUGE and CE was shifting higher in the gusts which felt uncomfortable. 10cm of extra boom felt like a mile during duck jibes and transitions. My board's deck is getting softer. I was having a hell of a time just popping the board today. My subconscious mind is just telling my body it is just not worth it. It took two hours before I got a decent attempt in. Later I smacked the outside of my ankle with a hard object during one attempt/crash. I got a little heat stroked today as well so did not give my best effort. Drive home had an extra 45 minutes of stop/go traffic in SA between 410/I-35. No fun.
