I took off the next 4 days off work to go to ABK in CC again to get some help with my terrible vulcan attempts. Unfortunately, just like last year, the wind gods let me down. Yes, there was wind in CC today, but the wind looked just as good here in Austin (without 8 hours of driving for just one day of planing wind), and the next 3 days look non-planing down there. I love those guys, they are awesome, but I can't do another LWF clinic again. Hopefully next year, because I need lots of help. I am a loser...

I rigged my 6.3m2 instead of my 5.9m2 because of what happened to the wind on Tuesday. Retrospectively, I should have definitely rigged the 5.9m2. It was MUCH better today! Sunny, up/down, but mostly up. Warm water. FUN!! I had a blast on my new Maschina today. I sailed for 5.5 hours straight today except to put on new harness lines X 2. I was wiped out at the end of the day. I got a new foostrap blister on the medial side of my right foot. Am I the only one who gets these (big feet)?

Major props to Brian's boss for letting Brian come and join in the fun. I had a much better time because he was out there with me. He gave me some good advice. Now I just need to use it.
