ABK Day Two
I can't even remember lecture... 11 different UW360s?
Morning was more LWF/mild planing. I did get around on the second UW360 in straps, but was not over the board so fell in. Afternoon, I thought the wind was ramping up, so I decided to change down to 5.9 from 6.3. At first, I was struggling to plane into the sandbar area where Andy was, but then it finally picked up and was really good. So good, everyone else needed to go in and rig down. At one point, it was just me and Donnie for at least 30 minutes. I must have attempted 15 vulcans, each time trying to do exactly what Andy was telling me. It was exhausting, unnatural, but I was really trying hard to do what he wanted me to do. A helicopter watched us briefly, and I had my best attempt then, but my back foot bounced out of the strap on landing. That was kind of fun. I was wasted by 5:00pm. I was amped to see the video analysis, since I tried so many different kinds of attempts. Unfortunately, Colin only got the first 30 minutes, when I was not able to plane, so zero footage. Kind of gutted since no success, and no footage. Starting to feel more lost than ever on the move.
Jellies were better, but wore my 3/2 anyway despite the heat. I did not want to get stung.
