Wow, how lucky am I to be in the Gorge and be at Windfest for the first time?!  Not a lot of wind, but enough to demo some cool boards. I LOVED the RRD quad fin!  It handled the gusts so nicely, it turned excellently (soooo close to making a DW360) and it did not sink one bit during pretty extreme lulls (maybe 5 mph). The 85l FSW felt big to me for some reason. I'm not much of a sail girl, but the RRD sail seemed nice and the pinkish/purple color of the north was stylish. I also went to 3 mini-clinics. Wyatt did a freestyle clinic and recommended we all try an end-of-the-session boomerang. I didn't try one as the launching area was crowded and I could just see my boomerang going wild and hitting some innocent free rider. Wow, the sun is setting and the view is absolutely breathtaking!  How lucky I am!
