Buck McRockbuff's WindLog for Sunday January 22, 2012

4th session in 2012
Sailed at Lake Belton Park, TX
Wind from the WSW (mph)
        Average: 15
        Gusts: 22
Rated a 10 of 10

Board: '09 JP Freestyle 90
Sail: '09 Reverb 5.2

We drove north because NOAA said it was going to be this:

A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR MOST OF NORTH TEXAS ON SUNDAY FROM 10 AM THROUGH 7 PM... .A POTENT UPPER LEVEL SYSTEM MOVING NORTH OF THE REGION WILL BRING VERY STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS TO NORTH TEXAS ON SUNDAY. WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL BE SUSTAINED FROM 20 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 40 TO 45 MPH. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL OCCUR IN THE AFTERNOON HOURS.

But, unfortunately it didn't turn out that way.

On the plus side, 100% (5/5) on the V's...2 on starboard, 3 on port. Or maybe I semi-fell once on a 3rd starboard attempt? I semi-fell on something once I think, but my old brain doesn't remember.
