A very beautiful day to be outside. Not the greatest day windsurfing at Lake Travis. There were some gusts which allowed me to get in a few vulcan attempts and DW360s, but some of the lulls were pretty darn windless. I was getting progressivley further downwind over time. At one point, towards the end of my session, the wind almost completely shut down while I was on the opposite side of the lake from where I launched. I thought I might have to swim it, but thankfully a little breeze finally filled in. I did have to do a major walk of shame up Windy Point at the end because I ended up so far downwind when I finally made it back to land. I really did not want to risk trying to get upwind, only to have the wind shut down again. I should have put my chips in and gone to the coast today! It was still great to get outside.
