Late evening session.

The meter was showing 22g30, and the forecast was changed to show increasing winds into sunset, so I added the 82L board and the 4.5 and 4.1 to the car and the headed back out to the lake sans Laura, who isn't all that keen on double-session days at the same venue. It looked nice and windy as I was driving up. So windy that there were at least 2 kitemares in progress. One guy getting was dragged through and across the submerged stumps, and another guy floundering about, maybe he lost his board? By the time I rigged the 4.9, the wind had dropped and the kitemares resolved themselves and I wondered why I came back out. Waited a few minutes, then got a really nice maybe 30 minute session with me the only one on the water, which was very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very nice considering the last 2 sessions.

It turns out it's not the sail that's making the moves, but it's me, since the same thing was happening on the 4.9. A new sense of control and awareness during the slide/spin phase seems to have been unlocked. We'll see if it sticks or if its just a multi-day fluke.
