Buck McRockbuff's WindLog for Wednesday July 03, 2013

41st session in 2013
Sailed at Hatchery, WA
Wind from the W (mph)
        Average: 22
Rated a 10 of 10

Board: '09 RRD WaveTwin 82
Sail: '12 Naish Boxer 4.0, '12 Naish Boxer 4.7

4.0 seemed like it could be right. But it wasn't. So 4.7 then, right? No. Not really. This didn't work either. It happens that I took the "big" boards and sails out of the van this morning because they were taking up too much annoying space. We could have used them today I think. In any event, I seem to have the port tack CFVs down, at least here in the butter smooth mecca we call Le Hatch (we don't actually call it that, I'm not sure why I said that.) But, I can't seem to spin them around and turn them into CFSs yet.

What Laura said also too (sic) about the Wall and whatnot. I say that The Wall chews you up and spits you out. After the Wall Bust, I wanted to go back to Hatch and practice the groobies (sic), because they are always on my mind lately. But the trend was down, and the trend is your friend. So that gig was cancelled.

Much later PSB: 21st Amendment Brew Free! Or Die IPA. Awesome. Plus, an awesome looking can to add to my beer can collection. Sure, it's not a state beer, but it's not June anymore, it's July, and it's one of only two (that are actually good) that you can buy in cans here. I rocked the June state beer challenge BTW. Started in Mexico, continued in San Diego, long stretch in Austin, then finallied (sic) up with a few days in the best place in the universe.

PSG: Lesson learned...when preparing tomato based sauce pasta, always splurge for the expensive tomato sauce that has olive oil in it. Because it is flipping awesome.
