I got a text from Justin from NM that he and Michael and the others in their group were sailing at the hotel, so I came. I did not get to try my new freestyle fin as planned. I had high hopes of freestyle but returned with my tail between my legs to switch to my small wave board. It was extremely rough and messy out and I was overpowered and got slammed on even the few easier things I did try.

It's fun to try a new launch and I'm glad I did, but overall prefer Cole Park. The single better thing I can say about McGee is it's good for practicing port backside wave riding. Well, I guess it's also 60 seconds closer to $2 pint night.
