Yeah! Completed my first push tack, Haas tack, and clew-first tack, all at the same time! Did it on probably my 20th attempt. Sometimes just ended up backwinded (no board turnage), sometimes felt like I was just doing a sb360, and other times just got slammed on the backwind. Success was on the port to starboard tack...which I attribute to it being my right (dominate) hand being the back hand while backing the sail. The opposite tack still needs work. Was not able to repeat the success. I'm thinking the planing version might be easier than the non-planing, since the board will be easier to turn. Practiced hopping to switch stance and pumping the sail while switch stance. Any session where you complete a move for the furst time deserves a 10. Post sailing beer: Full Sail Pale Ale
