Nice day. Freestyle at first. A lot of slog and LWF, eventually I got a few good rides. My leg was feeling good until I tried a DW360. So, I decided to sail the Falcon with the NCX. Today was the first time I was lit up on a slalom board. Wow. I have so many things I can say, but this is a totally different form of windsurfing. It feels way different, and really scary right now. It is fin riding more than board riding, and takes a very different level of commitment. When things are in balance, it is super fast and comfortable. As the balance starts to get a little off, it feels like a lot of power about to blow up. I cannot even imagine sailing the 8.6m2 race sail at this point. I am so far away from sailing in good control around a bunch of buoys.
