I haven't sailed at S. Pack since the hurricane, but I didn't notice a change in the break. The visit did solidify that there's very little reason to ever sail here when we have Port Aransas that's 1000x better. It's so sloppy and disjoined! Little to no down-the-line. But Matt texted that he was kiting there, and his work schedule was tight, and since it was late in the day and cold I opted to sail with a buddy rather than most likely alone at dark at Port A. People were really nice and I met some others as well. Mike the kiter. Tom the photographer. A kiter lady who zipped my wetsuit and kept an eye on me until Matt and family arrived. Some people were doing a Christmas tree burning at the jetty, but it was a miserable failure due to the trees being too green and the wind too high. So I arrived back on shore to basically a smoldering incense bomb. But I was toasty warm and comfortable in my nice wetsuit. Even though I fell in today.
