Boardshorts and a rashie are all that is needed now. Really nice air and water temperatures today, and plenty of sunshine too. Barnacles? Something is consistently cutting up the bottom of my bare feet about 8 feet from the shoreline. I hate wearing booties. The Weather Channel and Weather Underground had afternoon wind @ 20mph, but iW had just 15mph, so I put on the roof racks this morning and brought my 138 slalom board and 8.5 to prevent skunkage. The wind was about 15mph when I got there. I rigged the slalom gear, but also my 6.3m2 Freek and freestyle board if an afternoon push happened. It didn't. I was nicely powered and consistently planing all day on the slalom gear, but I was shlogging on the freestyle gear.
