2nd time the parking lot has been packed out this year already. Just like old times!

Decided I'd try some more spin loops, even though I didn't pack my ass and back with padded Amazon envelopes. After the first attempt, I felt a presence on the rocks which compelled a glance toward Rockland. There before my eyes appeared Brandt-sensei, pantomiming what I need to do differently. After a few rounds of this, he apparently was able to coach me all the way around into a position I could have water started out of if I had pumped the back hand a bit to refly the sail. This is what he tells me. But interestingly, that particular attempt didn't feel very much different than the others. Which is good! That means it's not scary.

Actually, it did feel different. It was a bit whiplashy, and it was a painful back slam. Nothing that lasted for long though. Note to self: check for bruised back.
