Fun to get to bird! Even though I sailed pretty poorly. I did get some upwind 360s in the straps and worked on some basic skills on my opposite sides to practice for north wind. The fins on these boards both felt enormous, or maybe I'm just that out of practice on flat water, and I realized my freestyle fin that I love so much doesn't fit either board I brought. It only fits the board I dislike that I'm selling. Also realized my mast base screw looks very worn, and when I compared backups at the store, the chinkook carbon bases are so much heavier. It makes me not inspired to spend that money for a smaller and heavier product. I also want a smaller wave board fin. Randy said they can order stuff but don't stock it. Looks like I have some research to do. I sailed poorly but loved getting this session in and also catching up with Mike, Vanessa and Chris, Randy, Trina, and Chad. Oh and I stepped on a stinger or something random in the parking lot and my heel is now swollen and I can't put any weight in it. So that's fun.
