It has been hot as @#CK, and windless, and the forecast shows no wind for over a week. I was desperate. Wind today @4pm was forecasted 14mph on all sites, except iW which had 17mph. I spent yesterday trying to get the foil ready on my Falcon 138. I still can't decide if I made the wrong decision going with the Wizard 125 instead of the 150. I need to waterstart the 125, but can uphaul it in a pinch. When I arrived, I decided the gusts were good enough to go for it with the Wizard 125. Up and down, I had to wait for the gusts to waterstart, and luckily, I did not fall much. I mostly heli-tacked and jibed when off the foil. I wish I could rent a 150 to see if foiling in lighter wind with a bigger sail would be worth the extra volume. I still have not had a good session on position C with the i84. Perhaps it may require the mast base moved more forward. My best session to date was with the i84 and position B the first time I tried the i84 wing, but that also may have been a fluke.
