Not enough wind to plane constantly, and I almost didn't rig, but I did and it surprised me how much fun I had. More fun than yesterday with all the wind. Pretty blue water and the seaweed was gone. I could only plane when on a wave, so it was a clinic on nailing a non-planing jibe and correctly selecting the set and the placement on the wave. If you got it right, you planed all the way in and could even link a series of turns on the waist-high wave. If you got it wrong, well, it was an arm workout. I feel like this practice helps me either way.

*I don't know which word it is, Brian, but it sounds fun either way!

Recap of the 2019-2020 cold front season: 22 north wind wave sessions, setting a personal record by a lot. I missed at least four due to the quarantine, plus of course the few here and there I can't get to due to life/work. It was a good season, combined with my increased dedication to practice due to the PSC trip. Adding in the Boca Chica session I'd forgotten when counting yesterday.
