Not enough wind from Hurricane Delta reached us to enjoy the beautiful waves, so...wing day 2, first time with the foil.

I made every possible rookie preparation mistake and went up and down the hill 3x thinking I was ready to start, but hopefully I learned from that experience. The foil was much easier to point than the fin, so I could get back at least to where I started or even upwind. Wore the knee pads and it was dreamy comfortable compared with yesterday. 10/10. I feel comfortable standing and made all my tacks, some shaky, some feeling decently controlled. I felt the foil start to want to take over at times, but I didn't have the power to pop up, and I know that's due to inefficiency rather than wind speed. I felt comfortable pumping but wasn't loading the sail or foil efficiently. I'm still playing around with where to hold the wing and put my feet, and one issue is that some of the spots I want to pump with my feet are super slick. I need to figure out attaching some deck padding.  I only sailed about 40 minutes and was getting pretty tired, which is usually a sign I'm fighting instead of being efficient, so I decided to quit before getting hurt. I'll watch some videos and maybe they will make sense now that I've tried it.
