Board: Quatro Wing Drifter Pro 6'0"

Experiment day. Damien suggested I try his "big" board to see if it would be more stable for me. When I picked it up from his house, it did not look so big. He reassurred me. It is the Naish Cossover Hover SUP. Same width, 1.5 feet longer, but 10 liters less volume. So, with little to no wind on the lake I paddled and popped on my knees with both boards. They were about equal in stability. Both, just barely floating on the surface. I liked the Quatro better. I think getting the footstraps off my board today allowed me to get both feet planted on the deck and then my toes were naturally placed against the kick pad which gave me a lot more control. Popping up felt more like a surfboard pop up, and paddling was comfortable and natural. I wish the wind was better, I brought my SUP today to try, but there was not enough wind to pump up the wing. I am pretty sure I have the right board for me, but I need to be able to pop up quickly and confidently to use it.
