I started out just hoping for a flight or two, and then it filled in way over forecast for a few hours. I sailed for about 3 hours, and then I came in to take a break. The wind started to back off shortly after that. Foiling for me is still just about light wind effiency and something different. When the wind is up, I am always wishing I was windsurfing rather than being on foil. I know there are thrills to be had when you get better at it, but I have had none so far that beat the feeling of windsurfing. I think the best thing about wing foiling so far, is increased number of people on the water. It has brought wake foilers, kite foilers, and windsurfers together at the lake. We had a pretty high turnout today for a ho-hum forecast in December.
