It is a holiday weekend and there were just two people at BIB when I got there. The wind was awesome. Shallow and weedy was all I could figure, until finally some of the regulars showed up @4pm. I had to come off the water @ 5:30p because my hands were starting to get torn up from not having sailed in a month. When I came in I saw I put a small hole in my monofilm from my harness hook. I had redone my board's deck traction with Monster Traction Paint. It was easy to apply, looks great, and felt like it was going to work. Unfortunately, the traction was horrible. I could not keep my leeward foot from slipping off on jibes. Tacks were terrible. I though it might get better after a while, but I finally had to go back in and put on booties. I hate sailing with booties.
