I could write an entire blog on this day trip, but I will spare everyone. I visited Swantner, North Beach, Sunset Lake, and Wildcat. Wildcat for the win. I had it all to myself except a brief encounter with a kite foiler. Great launch, steady wind, fun chop. Some of the chop was pretty good sized despite the wind strength. I had my short mast on my foil since I had no locals to ask about the water depth. I may have to get a 75cm one cheap if I sail there more often. I am sure it can get crowded when the wind is up, but today, just me. Oh, and I made a tack today. I had to as I knew the water was getting shallow fast. Beginner's luck. I sailed a lot of toeside out of my jibes today. It is much harder for me on starboard than port. I need to start to try to switching my feet on foil.
