Got to hatch early and there was spray off the swell tops. Crap. I rigged 3.0 and it was not fun, too windy. So, i rigged 2.7 and it just didn't feel good, there were some lulls and if i did a jump it felt like i would just fall out of the air. Maybe too much downhaul?? Anyhow, i though, screw it, I am going back to the 3.0, so I re-rigged to 3.0!! Oh yeah, I was lit, didn't feel those holes anymore. I just was not getting any moves so I thought I would save my energy for some freestyle sailing another day, and quit. (Everytime I wanted to do a jump or ride a swell, someone was there.) I went in and the parking lot was a zoo, of course. Gonna be a busy day!! I went home and went for a super fun bike ride, yeah! 2 sport day. Scott had a great time sailing, of course. .😆 I saw the photos on FB of the swell later in the day and it was spectacular. |
