This was unexpectedly SO FUN. The wind got really light and the waves looked tiny, so I waited an hour watching a lone winger, regretting taking my wing gear out of the car and also regretting taking vacation time from work. But then it picked back up, I rigged, a bunch of other riders showed up, and the small-looking waves turned out to be long and fun to ride. I was carving so hard I started to rub the skin off the top of my feet. I am still building on the skills from my wave clinic and can tell I'm sailing differently, in a way that's getting me to use more of the wave. My wave jibes have improved also. I'm appreciating being able to still learn and improve. I should have rigged down to the 4.6 partway through but was having too much fun to stop.
