Got a couple of turns at Hookipa. winds have been Easterly most of the week which means offshore and very gusty. One word of wisdom given to me at the beach was that East winds get worse as the day goes on. From my N=4 sample, I did observe this to be true. So when they kick in, don't wait around. I also overheard that the pros go to a 'secret' spot when the winds are East somewhere on the SE of Maui. Not La Perouse but over that way I suppose. Great week with my wahine. :) |
